Events

My dance card is empty for the foreseeable future!  It seems sad to have an events page with no events, so here are some events:

• When my cats were young, they liked to periodically jump on each other to start a tussle.  One time, they decided to leap on each other at the same time, resulting in their colliding in mid-air, Matrix-style.  It was awesome.  I wish I had footage.  Now that they are old, they mess with each other in less athletic ways.  For instance, when one was bogarting the food dish yesterday, the other came up and quite deliberately stuck her ice-cold nose right on her nemesis’ anus.  Enforced sharing by surprise butt nuzzle: it totally works.

• My husband’s boss bicycles to work.  On one of his commutes this past winter, a Canada goose who apparently sucks at flying misjudged its take-off and collided with his chest.  A panicked struggle ensued.  Both man and bird sustained minor injuries.  I wish I had footage of that too; it sounds almost as awesome as that Fabio thing.  My husband’s boss now has a dartboard in his office with a picture of a goose on it yet still bicycles to work.

• Which event was more awesome?  The George Bush II pretzel thing or the George Bush I barfing-on-Japanese-dignitaries incident?
